Elena is a member of the WGA East.

In 2023, she was a staff writer on HBO’s late-night sports/comedy show Game Theory with Bomani Jones, where she tapped into her sports background (read: slightly-above-average high school basketball career; the only girl at Boston sports broadcasting camp in 2006; consistent status as That Person In The Fantasy League Who Cares Too Much) to contribute sharp and comedic takes on sports and culture.

She has multiple scripted pilot projects in development alongside her brother Andrew, including Senioritis, an animated comedy series with The Lonely Island’s development team, Party Over Here. Check out their sample clip over on the right.

She also wrote and performed for Good Cooks!, a monthly sketch comedy show at The Tank Theater in NYC that ran from 2018-2020.
